Steve Sizemore is a Neighborhood and Long-Range Planner with the Louisville Metro Planning Commission, specializing in bicycling and pedestrian issues.
Before coming to Louisville, Mr. Sizemore attended the University of Cincinnati where he received his Master’s Degree in Urban Planning. His undergraduate studies were in Kinesiology, where he became interested in active communities. He spent a couple of years teaching English and studying urban planning in Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mr. Sizemore also lived in the villages of Crete, Greece, studying the way of life of modern Cretens, including pedestrian and automotive circulation patterns and the use of their green infrastructure such as gardens, shade trees, and public spaces.
Steve Sizemore currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky where most days he either rides his bike or public transit to work.
